Get Ready to be in the Industry #1 / 業界へ乗り込む準備 その1

Today, I tried to walk from Hollywood to Santa Monica Beach.
The purpose of this plan is to get to know how big L.A. is.
The result of the plan was...failed.
Even I walked about 6 hours, couldn't reach to the goal.
Oh man, how huge this city is!!!
I realized the foolishness of my plan was!!lal

But, I've gained many things today:-)
First, I went supermarkets (Ralph's and Trader's Joe) to figure out the market prices of daily necessities.
I was surprised at sizes and prices of these things (So, huge and reasonable, also looks delicious)!!
I enjoyed the time wandering the supremarket.
Second, I went to "Samuel French Book Store". I just drop on the store by some kind of instinct.
When, I entered the store I suddenly remembered that this is the book store for acting and arts!
I thought again that it is very important to listen to the voice of impluse.
Every books were interesting, but I bought only "BACK STAGE" this time.
"BACK STAGE" is a famous magazine of auditions. Well, I check it later.
Third, I could make sure that free wi-fi is available in Starbucks. It is so helpful that I can use internet whenever I am in Starbucks. There are so few free wi-fi places in Japan.

Fourth, I understood the geography of the city a little bit, so I can image about how long it takes to the house, when seeing the address written in craigslist.

Anyway, I grew up and accustomed myself to the city than yesterday!!
But, I really really want to fix my place to live as soon as possible!!
Still long way that acting to be main in my life

今日は、ハリウッドからサンタモニカビーチまで歩いていく計画を立てた。
俺は無類の歩き好きなのです。
2月のクソ寒い中、ラスベガスのストラスフィアからMGMまで歩いたことだってある（シュールだ…）。
この計画の目的は、L.A.がどんだけデカいかを感じることである！
で、今回挑戦した結果は……見事に挫折。。涙
6時間歩いてもまだビーチまでつかないし、歩道というものがいつの間にかなくなるし、帰り遅くなって夜道で絡まれるのも恐いし、ってことで途中で引き返した。。
あ～～～～～～なんか悔しい！！！！！！
L.A.のデカさを実感させられた…（まー、普通はこんなむちゃな計画立てる前にデカさを分かってるものです。）
でも、今日は色んな収穫があった！

まず、アメリカのスーパーマーケット（Ralph'sとTrader's Joeってとこ）に行けたんだ！
ウロウロしてるだけで面白いんだよねー。
物価の相場とか把握できたし、何より全てが安いし、デカいし、おいしそう♪
ちなみに、今日食べたのは¢59の大きなパンと日本から調達したグミだけなので、本日の食費は約50円です、やびゃ！笑
これずっとやってたら死ぬな。

それに、"Samuel French Book Store"にも立ち寄れた。
なんとなくふと入ったって感じだったんだが、置いてある本を見てすぐ思い出した！あっ、名前忘れちゃってたけど、ここがあの有名な（はず？）演技とか芸術、業界の専門本屋さんだと！直感のむくままに動くことは大切だなと改めて思い知らされた。
棚にある本全部が興味深かったんだけど、今日はとりあえず"BACK STAGE"だけ購入した。
この雑誌は、有名なオーディション情報雑誌で色んな募集が載ってるのだ。あとで見てみよーっと。

他にも、スタバでは無料でネット使えることや、歩いたおかげでおよそのハリウッドの地理感覚を身につけられた。

とにかく、昨日よりも自分がこの町に慣れたことが嬉しい。
あーでも、早く家見つけて落ち着きたいです！
生活が演技で染まるには、まだちょっと時間がかかるかな。
まずは、基盤を整えないと。
